Thanks for your interest in becoming a vendor!
One of Harlingen Art Night’s attractions is the art vendor market on A. Street. Artists from across the Valley set up and sell a variety of unique, handmade items. Permanent overhead lights on both sides of the street, an affordable registration fee ($5), and a friendly community make setting up at Harlingen Art Night a great opportunity for both new and experienced artists!
Please review the guidelines below before completing your vendor application.
Harlingen Art Night A. Street Vendor Guidelines
All work presented for sale is original work produced by the artist named above and does not infringe on the ownership or copyright interests of another person.
Spaces will not be rented for the following: resale items including but not limited to clothing, vintage items, toys, books, shoes, novelty items, incense, plants (unless used in an art piece/craft item), drug paraphernalia, or food items of any kind.
Monthly space fee: $5.00 per space, payable at Harlingen Art Night. Payment is nonrefundable.
Approved vendors will provide their own table and chairs (each space is 8 ft. wide, 4 ft. deep).
A. Street is well-lit along the walls, so for the first 20 vendors who sign up and reserve spaces along the walls, additional lighting is not needed. Vendors beyond these 20 will set up in the middle of A. Street and should plan to bring battery-powered lighting. There is no access to a power source.
A Street is barricaded to car traffic on Art Night. However, art vendors may pull in past the barricades to unload between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. All cars must be moved out of the barricaded area by 5:45 p.m. Cars can re-enter the area after 9:00 p.m.
Vendors must be completely set up by 5:45 p.m. Any vendor not set up by this time forfeits their space.
Vendor spaces must be staffed at all times for the protection of the artists and their work. Harlingen Art Night will not be responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items including but not limited to art work and/or personal effects.
This agreement is not transferable.
Art vendors choose to participate in Harlingen Art Night at their own risk. Neither Harlingen Art Night, Jackson Street Market Day, Jackson Street Merchants, the Downtown Improvement District, the City of Harlingen, nor Cameron County accepts liability or responsibility regarding merchandise or personal injury for this event.
Art vendors authorize the Harlingen Art Night committee to release their Sales Tax ID to the State Comptroller’s office upon request.
